Our knowledge of the brain is expanding rapidly and we are now able to understand and treat psychiatric disorders such as depression, manic depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, and attention deficit disorder much more effectively than ever before. These exciting areas will be explored in detail in Perspective shows.
